An effective hearing loss prevention program requires occupational medical professionals to be proficient in the early detection and prevention of noise-induced hearing loss. This requires understanding of current best practices, as well as knowledge of certain aspects of noise-induced hearing loss that remain poorly understood.
ACA offers professional services to assist companies manage their audiometric testing programs.
Services are directed by Michael Stewart, Ph.D., CCC-A, professor of audiology at Central Michigan University, and an experienced private practice consultant in industrial hearing conservation programs.
